Love my 'Birdies'!

Drove up to Bollington (from Wiltshire) to visit Warren and sit on a few sofas. I already knew I wanted 2 'Birdies' but did want to try one out, and I wasn't disappointed. The killer was waiting 12 weeks for them to be made, but then as the saying goes, "All good things..." And the wait was worth it. I love them, and don't imagine I will ever willingly change them. And thanks, Warren, for being so down to earth and generally lovely.

Amazing company!

We really wanted a leather chesterfield for our new home and after lots of research we made an appointment to see Warren who helped us enormously in making a decision. We spent a long time discussing options and felt very confident that we had chosen exactly the right company. We ordered a Huxley and a snuggler in vintage leather and it was no problem to customise, to include the detailing we loved on the Monty. Even though we had been precise with our measurements we have a very tight turn into the the living room and we were doubtful about getting the sofas in. We needn't have worried as Warren contacted his delivery people to discuss logistics and assured us that in the unlikely event of an issue there would be a full refund. Warren sent regular progress updates and told us well in advance exactly when the sofas would be ready. We took delivery this week and we are absolutely delighted with our choices. The quality and workmanship is just fabulous and we couldn't be happier. We are now going to put in order for a footstool to complete the look. This isn't a regular, faceless furniture company. The service we have received has been so warm and personal and we really can't recommend Warren and his team highly enough. We've been told that our sofas are for life and so is our relationship with S.W. James. Thank you so much!

we were well looked after from moment…

we were well looked after from moment one ,i was in love with monty b4 we viewed him.Warren was extremely informative and not pushy a most relaxing visit.We ordered 2 Montys that day in the dark brown ,weve been keep up to date with our order progress right up to delivery they came yesterday , delivery lads were professional and friendly ,i love them so comfortable and fits well with our room ,i would certainly recommend Warren and his team fantastic service and quality items Made in the Uk 😊

Overall Fantastic!

From the moment I made contact with Warren and his team I was overly impressed with the customer service they offered. Very knowledgeable and understanding of what I was looking for and in no way pressured me into purchasing anything. After placing an order I was updated at regular intervals about the progress, this really gave me the confidence and understanding that I was going to be happy with the final products ordered. My two sofas arrived yesterday and I am absolutely thrilled with them, they look fantastic. The materials and craftsmanship has exceeded my expectations and I will most definitely be purchasing from S.W.James & Co again. I look forward to spending many happy years enjoying my new purchases :-)

I highly recommend S.W James

I highly recommend S.W. James for quality, care, support, communication and professionalism. It was extremely comforting to deal with this company to the extent that I felt assured throughout the process of ordering, final completion and delivery. Warren especially was extremely helpful, keeping me updated at every stage of production. The Birdie two-seat sofa in vintage leather is outstanding and delightful. A totally positive experience from start to finish.

Great experience from start to finish…

Great experience from start to finish with Warren.

From learning all about their products and their ‘why’ at the showroom to placing an order and being updated through the build process - everything was spot on.

The finished product (2x Huxlies) arrived last week and I couldn’t be happier with them.

Would definitely recommend Warren and SW James to anyone looking for top-notch couches.

They were informative in their product…

They were informative in their product range. There wasn’t a hard sell. The product is of a class which doesn’t need it. The Co-founder Warren was courteous and very helpful. I had the luxury of an early than quoted delivery date. The one stand out positive was the payment policy. I had taken delivery and had chance to inspect the product before the remaining 50% was requested. That’s trusting and for me reiterated what a personal and modern company I was dealing with.

Professional, friendly, great workmanship

Personal, professional, friendly experience from my first enquiry. We ordered a 2 seater Birdie to match our existing 3 seater Birdie that we love. Regular updates from Warren all the way through the process from placing our order to it being delivered into our living room gave me confidence that I'd made the right choice in choosing S W James. Brilliant Service ,Amazing Quality

We ordered Huxley after looking at many other chesterfields. From the moment we placed the order, the service and communication has been faultless. Warren has kept us up to date every step of the way. When Huxley arrived and was put in our dining room we realised what an excellent choice we made. The workmanship that has gone into producing Huxley is second to none. Even Florence our working cocker behaves when sitting on it. We suspect this is one piece of furniture that we will never replace. Our eldest daughter has asked we will leave it to her in our will. S.W James.. Impeccable!!

What can I say about S.W James! Fantastic!!! From the initial swatch sample through to delivery I have received impeccable customer service. I have been kept informed on how my order was progressing, reassurance when I needed it and when my sofa arrived! Well it was breath taking! The craftsmanship is beautiful it is more than I expected and looks beautiful in my room. I cannot recommend Warren and his team enough worth every penny!!

One word... EPIC

Amazing quality and even better customer service, ordered the three seater No1 but then changed my mind to 4 seater and wanted it with the bed option they were really accommodating. Changed for me no quibbles and just paid the additional separate rather than re ordering.

Delivery guys were really professional and made sure that the sofa would fit before delivery. They even did extra fittings on site to enable the fit in my cellar. Simply brilliant from start to finish and delivered within time scale set out from order point!

Superb quality

We spent a lot of time viewing Chesterfields before visiting SW James and seeing their product. No comparison, we placed an order there and then. The quality of materials used are fabulous the build you can see is carried out by highly skilled craftsmen, how they get the pleats so tight and the buttons so deep is amazing, the attention to detail outstanding, from the beautiful piping around the studs to the small tab that identifies this as a genuine SWJames. We chose the number 3 sofa and chair together with a number 7 chair in antique dark brown leather, beautiful and very comfortable

Superb from start to finish…

SW James were superb from start to finish. Warren was really great. He helped us choose the right colour for our room with samples and photos, then he had our sofa, chair and stool made in time for delivery just after we moved in. We'll definitely be back for more!

Even Better Than Expected

Everything about the purchase of our SW James No 5 Chesterfield was perfect. Having done a lot of research we thought SW James would be good - they exceeeded our expectations. Prior to purchase and throughout production and delivery we received execellent customer service and we will continue to enjoy the quality and craftsmanship of our sofa for many years to come.

Very Impressed

My SW James 5 seater No 2 leather Chesterfield arrived today. I am extremely impressed with the quality of leather, comfort and workmanship.

There are not many manufactures of furniture that keep you updated with your order and seem to treat their creations with immense pride.

I am so impressed that I’m already considering ordering a second piece.
