All our leathers come in hand selected colour palettes curated by the S.W. James team. Each colour has been deliberately selected to provide shades and blends that look different on every Chesterfield sofa or armchair we produce.

Shown here in a stunning Whiskey Brown shade. Our Heritage range is a natural aniline leather. When slightly hand-pulled, the beautiful characteristics of this leather are revealed. Allowing the look of the leather to mature with time. A very light, transparent wax coating has been applied to allow the hide's character to show through.

Carefully selected
Luxuriously Soft Leather
Only the most carefully selected hides are used for this range. Unlike lesser leathers, this allows for each separate hide to be used in its most natural state, with minimal treatment. Allowing the leather hide to retain its natural, luxuriously soft feel.
Treated to perfection
Beautifully Oiled And Waxed
During the colour treatment process, this leather is rested in oil to make it beautifully soft to the touch. The surface of the leather is then gently waxed to provide a glowing sheen.
Charming
Leather In Its Most Natural State
By honouring the natural characteristics the hides collect over time (scars, blemishes, marks) – each piece of furniture covered in Heritage leather gains its own inconsistent charm and beauty.
